Privacy

Last updated 19 September 2026

This page explains what information the-ai-times.ai collects about you and how it is used. Questions go to contact@the-ai-times.ai.

In short

  • There are no reader accounts and no forms that ask for your details.
  • We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and Google AdSense to show ads. Both use cookies.
  • We do not sell or rent information about readers.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It collects information such as the pages you visit, your browser and device, and your approximate location, and it uses cookies to do so. Google handles this data under its own privacy policy. You can opt out with Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising

We show ads served by Google. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info. How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for their consent first.

Stored on your device

If you switch a story between list and slides, your browser remembers the choice. It is never sent to us.

Notifications and the app

If you turn on notifications, your browser gives us an address at its notification service (run by Google, Mozilla, Apple or Microsoft, depending on your browser) and a key to encrypt our messages to it. We keep that, the desks you chose and when we last sent to it, and nothing that says who you are. We use it only to tell you when a desk publishes. Turning notifications off on the Notifications page deletes it; if you block them in your browser instead, we delete it the next time a message is refused.

If you install the site as an app, your device keeps copies of pages you have opened so you can read them offline. They stay on your device.

Server logs

Like most websites, our servers keep standard logs of requests, including IP addresses, to keep the site running and secure.

Other websites

Some images are loaded from the websites of the publications they come from, which can see your IP address. Links to other sites only contact them when you follow them.

If you email us

We use your address and message only to deal with what you wrote about.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time; the site works without them. To ask about any information we hold about you, write to contact@the-ai-times.ai.

Changes

When this policy changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves.
